Don't be fooled by the title of this post...Haha...I put it as that title simply because I went for this yesterday:


Kanye West Glow In The Dark Tour Concert

Well, the day began well. Left home early to meet up with my buddies.Went to town to hang out and just chill. Had fun though. Thereafter, went to my aunt's house to fetch my cousin as we were both going to the concert together. I couldn't go with anyone else as they were busy, they had their own plans. Since it was his birthday last month, why not just bring him?...Took pictures as well...

My cousin, Faiz....

We arrived rather early, around 7.45pm. So it was not packed at that time. Got our snacks and took pictures. Before the actual concert commenced, there was a beatboxing competition and performances by DJs and more beatboxers. It was so awesome I tell you. Around 9 plus, Kanye West finally emerged. He was dressed so well and his performances were all high energy and very cool. Hip-hop at its best. His raps were all amazing. He performed many hits such as Diamonds, Touch The Sky and so many more. All great performances. He even performed hits he was featured on such as Estelle's "American Boy" and Young Jeezy's "Put On". Simply incredible. The lights for the concert were sensational. Not only that, he performed his new single, "Love Lockdown" and the classic, "Gold Digger". So awesome. He closed the show with everyone's favourite, "Stronger." Wow. What a great night. Mr West is such a down-to-earth guy. Very cool and funny at the same time.

During the show...

All-in-all, an incredible concert. My cousin sure enjoyed it, even though he was annoying at times. After the concert, Faiz got hungry and we headed to the nearby coffeeshop near Kallang for supper.

Something happened at that time which made me so happy. I met someone at that coffeeshop. I was surprised to see her. I can't describe my feelings at that time, but I was ecstatic. It's like, well, she could not go to the concert with me because she went with her sister. I realy think fate allowed us to meet. I mean, you knew I was gonna be there, but I didn't know you would be there as well. I guess, I don't know the actual reason, but I feel fate allowed us to meet. Why didn't you tell me you were there too?...I hope you enjoyed the concert as much as I did. Am I that lucky to be able to see you?...But I thank God for that moment, no matter how short. Because the truth is, I really missed you.

Where we met...
Well, she went off first with her sister. Didn't want her to miss last train...Haha...Well, I sure did miss the last train, accompanying my cousin as he was eating. Forced to take the taxi home. 30 dollars for cab far lah...Aiyoh...It's Ok. Reached home around 1 plus. Well, an incredible night I must say which got even better when I saw you....I will do my very best for you...You know what I mean...Do take care...and enjoy the remaining of the holidays. I was so happy to be able to see you...I hope it was Fate that allowed me to see you...Only God knows...Hope you had a great time at the concert...I sure did. :) 29 October 2008...another date I would never forget. A night made better all because of you.
