I believe in angels, The kind that heaven sends, I am surrounded by angels, But I call them friends. This is an update of last Friday, 24 of July. Well, I went to school as usual. The Culture module definitely rocks my socks as it is my favourite module as our facilitator, Mr Chen, is definitely one hilarious guy. After the lesson ended, my friends and I headed to Shaw Lido at Orchard. We were going to catch the movie, The Dark Knight, which I have been wanting to catch ever since the movie was released in Singapore. Well, it was my treat, as I had free vouchers for movies. But I did not mind using them as long as I get to share them with my beloved friends.....I love you all....Justin, Chein Yie, Huda, Asmirah, Fitri, Amin, Mahathir, my Darlings and myself went for the movie. Hong Yong was supposed to join us, but he had plans. It's Ok man, there's always next time. And also, this was the first time Nydia joined us, which I must admit, made my really happy. It would be the second time for Nydia as she had watched The Dark Knight before, but I did not mind. At first, we planned to head to Bugis for the movie, but since my class ended slightly later, plans had to be changed, and Orchard was where we ended up. So, we took the train there and I have to admit, it was definitely one of the best train trips I have ever been through. Probably because I have my bestest of friends around me. We joked and laughed maniacally as if it was nobody's business. So we reached Lido about 45 minutes later and we purchased tickets for the 7.30pm show. While waiting for the movie to commence, guess what we did....Well, you guessed it.......we CAM-WHORED.....LOL... Here are the pictures we took: And here are pictures I took with Nydia...Wooohooo Peace To All So Close And Yet So Far Kiss Distribution After all this, we went to purchase our popcorn, both sweet and salted, our drinks and even hotdogs, to complete our movie experience. We went into the cinema, and minutes after, the movie started. The movie was so freaking awesome, even though it was rather lengthy. However, the seats in the cinema were rather uncomfortable, as they could rock, like rocking chairs. But I had no complains, as I sat next to Nydia in the cinema....so fun....Hehe. She kept saying Christian Bale was handsome....Arghhh...I was jealous...Haha. All-in-all, we all enjoyed the movie. Batman's voice in the show sounded like he ate a bucket of chocolate non-stop and now he had a sore throat..LOL. The Joker was sensational. His performance was wonderful. And when he said, "Why So Serious?", that was definitely the part I was looking forward to. The Joker is so cool. I am certain the late Heath Ledger's performance would win him an Academy Award. Ultimately, the movie rocked and my friends felt the same way. So, after the movie, we headed to the nearest McDonald's as some of us had not done our RJs. Nydia had to go off first....Sigh...as she had plans. At Mac's, we completed our RJs and still had time to cam-whore...Haha... It was getting late at night, so after all this, we made our way home. We did not want to miss the last train. I accompanied Shan-ling all the way to City Hall, we joked and I carried her lappy for her. I am a gentleman, I must say. I wanted to accompany her all the way to Aljunied, but I couldn't as I would miss the last train to Boon Lay. We all reached home safe, even though we reached home late. Overall, the day went well and everyone had a blast. We should do it again sometimes. A big thanks to everyone for being a part of this. I sure had fun. Thanks again.
